2025 NFC Championship Drone Show presented by Philadelphia Eagles, Bud Light, and Verge Aero Powered Network
January 2025 – Verge Aero and Flylight Drones deliver a viral drone show at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the Eagles pep rally with Bud Light.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – "GO BIRDS!"
January 2025 – The Philadelphia Eagles teamed up with Verge Aero to deliver a spirited drone show over the Philadelphia Museum of Art, garnering excitement ahead of their NFC Championship Game against the Washington Commanders.
Hundreds of fans flocked to Eakins Oval facing the museum's famous "Rocky Steps" to witness the 300-drone display, which accompanied a pep rally with appearances from the Eagles Drumline, cheerleaders, and mascot Swoop.
The 10-minute show brought to life iconic Eagles imagery, players' celebratory dance moves, and unforgettable season moments like RB Saquon Barkley's backwards leap over a Jaguars defender. A can of Bud Light, the show's presenter, made a playful cameo over the Museum steps. The display concluded with a large QR code that gave attendees the chance to win NFC Championship tickets.
The show was a big success and a hit on social media, leaving fans energized for the big game.
The drone show was a great event for the Eagles's fan base to rally before the championship against the 49ers leading into the Superbowl. Supersized logos and QR codes with free prizes are obvious wins for fan engagement, and they only scratch the surface of what's possible with aerial drone choreography. Expect to see more franchises and more industries reaching their audience through the night sky.
Verge Aero has strong company roots in Philadelphia, and we're proud to fly a third time (first in 2020) and again in 2023 for this event. We'd like to thank the team and the city of Philadelphia for having us, and our partner Flylight Drones for providing additional drones.
