About & Careers
Verge Aero’s mission is to make drone shows ubiquitous. The founding team - Chris Franzwa, Anthony Merlino, Tony Samaritano, and Nils Thorjussen - have spent the past decade developing the technology and systems to power spectacular drone shows all over the world.
Since its founding in 2016, Verge Aero grew from working out of livings rooms, basements, and a garage, to become the leading technology provider for professional drone shows. Verge Aero has been featured on events ranging from President-Elect Biden’s victory celebration, to the Electric Daisy Carnival, and America’s Got Talent: Extreme.
The Verge Aero engineering team is based out of Austin, Texas, where we develop our drones, software, control hub, and other drone show technology. Our provider network - the people who use Verge Aero drones to perform shows - can be found all over the world!
We develop and manufacture everything necessary to easily create and fly sophisticated drone shows. It is our singular mission to push the limit of drone show technology and design. Much like with the Apple Mac, we believe that tight hardware-software integration yields the best overall experience. Our drones and control software are designed in tandem specifically for the purpose of flying drone shows.
